Thank you. But can you please give me an example?
I can not create a pattern out of machine names like fred, susie and albert.
When I enter
fred susie albert
In the host exclude mask it doesn't seem to work. But that is the patter Houdini uses for example.

Re: Forum search - every word is too common
Then try something else. What in your opinion would not be a common word? Any other forum engine I know would return a result for host or setup. What good is a search when every word contained in the documentation is considered too common? I am looking for information about host or setup. Why can I ...

Re: Forum search - every word is too common
Any word will do.
If you need an example search for "host", or "watch" or "setup".
The result is always the same.

Host exclude mask, synthax?
It would seem that the host exclude mask only works for me when there is only one hostname in there.
How would I add multiple hosts to that mask? What do I have to use as separator? I've tried space, comma, semicolon.

Forum search - every word is too common
When I do a search in this forum I always get the same error message:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: [word of your choice] ."
For every word I am trying to search for. Can this be fixed?

hrender_af.cmd calling the wrong hython version
Just a heads up:
the line "%APP_DIR%\bin\hython2.7.exe" %HOUDINI_CGRU_PATH%\hrender_af.py %*
should call hython3.7.exe, not 2.7, at least in Houdini 18.5.563. Not sure about earlier versions of Houdini. Easily fixed though.
Still loving Afanasy

Re: Houdini ocean geo cache render issues
Yes I know that. That is not the issue. The issue is the name that Afanasy assigns when it creates the folder, which has the extension of the scene file. That is wrong. It should not have the extension of the file name. The fact that Afanasy interprets the $HIPNAME variable as the scene file name in...

Re: Houdini ocean geo cache render issues
I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing. If I use the $HIPNAME variable in a Redshift ROP an have it create a directory and the actual scene name is "testscene", Redshift will create a directory named / testscene / automatically. If I submit the same scene with the same variab...

Re: Houdini ocean geo cache render issues
I don't know what Afanasy does with the variable. I only know it interprets it differently than Houdini. If it would interpret it exactly like Houdini, it would not create directories with a file extension in the name. So baking the solved path would be one option, but I think the logical solution w...
