Re: Render Pools
... I do like the idea that one can add and remove services on-the-fly (which is actually a problem I'm currently facing). Although I would like to be able to lock it down to certain hosts. ... - Now we can add/remove service for a permanent purposes and disable/enable for a temporal. Capacity is i...

Re: Render Pools
Hi. For now pools implementation is not finished. A pool has a "pattern" parameter. New hosts will be parented to pool matching pattern mask. So i do not see anything that we losing from a farm.json. But now you can move some host in any pool manually, it is useful to setup specific server...

Re: 2.3 addon error when submiting job
Hi.
Blender 2.8 have changed addons Python API much.
Addons for previous versions are incompatible.
Somebody, who uses Blender and familiar with its Python API should adopt CGRU blender plugin for 2.8.

Re: C4D R20 // not loading RENDER TO FARM

How you add cgru/afanasy plugin/script in C4D? - lot of questions. You should run soft from CGRU Keeper if do not want to deal with...

Re: Error: JSON.parse
Hi. Yes it is a bug in afserver: https://github.com/CGRU/cgru/blob/master/afanasy/src/server/sysjob.cpp#L54 If task name is not specified, we can't just use a beginning of a command for it, as command can contain JSON data with a special characters. Re: Error: JSON.parse
Hi.
I reproduced the same bug on Linux server with a Linux client.
So OS does not matter here.
Will dig it deeper.

Re: Error: JSON.parse
Hi.
Ok! I will check it. Looks like a bug on server.
Also, you can try afwatch (Qt GUI) - it is much faster, may be better on a big amount of clients.
And you can try Linux for afserver only.

Re: Error: JSON.parse
Just read your signature.. 300 windows clients on a windows server!!! I bet that you are the first who did it! For a such amount of clients i want to recommend Linux server. If you can run soft Linux - it is definitely better to use Linux on clients too. Linux is much more better for networks. ( You...
