I don't know what cgru version you are using (better to specify it in signature). It already in houdini afanasy.py and afanasy.otl GUI. You can just update those files. Or you can build new 3 version from sources.

I do not see any mentions about cgru/afanasy/statics site.
Have you installed all needed modules (see docs) and set up Apache to serve statistic site?
What have you do for it?

This is not a CGRU theme.
There are lots of methods for centralized installation and centralized launching anything.
Just look internet on how to centralized something.

See Apache logs for errors (just after F5).
May be some module missing.

As i told before, you are using /etc/profile - this is wrong!

If one system is working and the other does not - just find the difference between systems. But the best approach is not to modify environment "system wide". As one software can break other software environment. Better to modify just only CGRU environment by adding a custom setup file. And...
