Mechanism of work with Maya+Vray Max+Vray

Greeting! I couldn find this information on site...
I need to know how cgru works with Maya + Vray Max+Vray
Am i right, that for that render scheme i need to install all of this applications on nodes (Maya+Vray Max+Vray) ?
The main point, that Vray has a RenderNode software for distributed render from UI of artist

I need to know that, because price of all license pack is much more different in this case.

You can install everything everywhere.
But if you want to lower cost, you can install only Vray on farm.
This way you should generate vray scenes from Maya/Max on workstation for farm.
Or you can install Maya/Max just on a few farm hosts to generate vray scenes on it.

You are talking about vray standalone and it compatible only with .vrscene files. That is not good, because can cause many problems when artist use any addons and plugins in maya or max.

Am i right, that cgru is sending only a command for render in Max or Maya with information about project file and all render settings?

I just looking for a cheap way to avoid using export to .vrscene

You can double-click task in afwatch, most task info is there.
Almost the same afserver sends to afrenders.
Also, user, job, block and task can have custom data, all this data will be sent too, and can be used in a Python service class in any custom way.

Thanks for the information! If it's interesting, i will post a final setup, when all work and debug will be done.
