Re: Maya relative path issue with referencing
Hi Timur, the solution is pretty simple: We need a field where we can set the "project path". Then you need to add to the render.exe the command "-proj "project_path". mayarender -proj "project_path" -r file -s 779 -e 779 -b 1 -cam "camera_name" -rd "...

Maya relative path issue with referencing
Hi, maybe anyone can explain to me if this is a general Maya issue with the command line rendering or CGRU is causing this? I have a Maya scene with referenced scenes. In the Reference Editor I had to set manually the paths to relative by using ../ Locally it works fine. All references will be loade...

Sumbit Delay to opimize Network traffic
Hello, we are using CGRU with 22 computers and a 1Gbit Network. I am actually doing tests with different packages and EEVEE to figure out the efficiency. I realized that submitting a job will cause all PCs to load the scene from our fileserver at the same time which has a significant impact on the r...

Re: Render task process: Silence...
Restarting all machines seems to solve the issue. When it happens again I'll be back. Thanks!

Blender: Correct Time Calculation of Stereo Renderings
Hi,
Blender renderings with a stereo camera will not be correctly shown in the final result. Blender will render two frames and the time will not be added but the time of the last render only.
Thanks,
Michael

Re: WakeOnLan on Windows
We were wrong. After disabling the "Magic Packet only" option something else is waking up the machines all the time after setting them to sleep. We thought that CGRU works now, but when we set the PCs to sleep they woke up within a minute later automatically. Turning off "Wake up on P...

Re: WakeOnLan on Windows
Yes. But now we have another issue. When I set all 22 PCs to sleep one failed to sleep (get stuck). And when I try to wake up not everyone will wake up. Even when I connect with AnyDesk CGRU shows still "offline". It looks like the Afrender task needs to be restarted.

Re: WakeOnLan on Windows
We solved it. CGRU seems not to support "magic packets" (Win10/11). Turning this off in the adapter will let CGRU wake up our PCs now.
