Re: Archive vs. Hide vs. Delete
Thumbs-up for hide/unhide, thank you! An archive would still be useful, but for now I'll be using the heck out of this.

Re: "Skip Existing" option for all renderers:
Hey Timur, I see "af.Block.skipExistingFiles" in the docs, but am wondering if this is currently exposed to users in either Watch or WebGUI? I've been looking for it to see if I can use it to solve some of our render issues but am not seeing it as a user-facing variable that can be updated?

Archive vs. Hide vs. Delete
Some jobs need to be kept around for various reasons – we might have them paused for a few days until the farm opens up and we can let them render, we might want to see how long tasks took to make sure new versions are not vastly different, or we might want to keep a record of machine issues that ar...

2,000,000+ frames later:
We've been absolutely hammering CGRU since June with 2k and 4k stereo 360º renders from C4D, Octane, Houdini, Fusion, and After Effects, and I have a few observations on the things that were our largest pain points, as a way of helping to identify the areas in which CGRU could use the most improveme...
Re: Fusion 8
+1 on this, we might have a guy who can re-write the script for Fusion 9 in python, but if anyone has already started this process please let us know and we can try to combine efforts to make this happen faster!

CGRU not catching C4D errors:
There are a few errors that are thrown by C4D / Octane that CGRU does not currently detect, so it does not re-queue the failed tasks and requires careful human monitoring to catch and fix. Here is the only info that we get in the logs from these crashes: 1) most common: Error: application crashed C4...

Re: CGRU is too fair!
I was under the impression that 99 was the top due to the submitter's "-1" leading to a priority of 99, we'll try much higher numbers and see how it goes!

CGRU is too fair!
The decision of how many slaves each render gets is a weighted combination of submit time, priority, and user, where the farm is "fairly" divided amongst all users and all jobs. This is great for a general render condition, where there are a bunch of users and many machines and no high urg...

Re: god mode in web GUI?
Aha - for anyone having similar issues, look at the log window at the very bottom of the browser window, "iddqd" will toggle between "USER MODE" and "GOD MODE" so you know you are in the correct mode. Thank you!
