Re: Installation on Windows Server
Hi. As far as i understand, you are talking about afrender client on windows, not about afserver. Showing any dialogs along with a graphics session generally on a render farm is not a good work-flow. But it works on windows normally. And our studio has some windows clients too, with a logged-in grap...

Re: RULES installation
Rules has no own database. It is like a special file browser. You should create project on your file server with a special (customizable) folders structure. Then you can browse it, like in an example: http://rules.cgru.info/#/CG_PROJECT/SCENES/A_SCENE/A_SHOT_01 CG_PROJECT/SCENES/A_SCENE/A_SHOT_01 - ...

Re: The right way to maya batch?
Hi. For more information you can paste task output here. Also you should place CGRU version and you platform (OS) here. AfRender uses Python for services and parsers. For example on windows CGRU contains own Python3 and set PYTHONHOME to use it. Maya uses own Python2. So if PYTHONHOME is set to some...

Re: Parser Error not working as expected
Hi. Bug reason: When afrender receives af::TaskExec to start from afserver, it checks whether such task (jobid, blocknum, tasknum) already exists. On parser bad result, afrender asks task to stop and sends ParserError to afserver. Afserver asks afrender to close ParserError task. Afserver sends new ta...
