Re: Removing temp files in working directory

Hi. Temp folder is also used by afrender to store temp task data, thumbnail for example. It should not be a network folder, c:\temp is a good default place (configurable). After task finish (with any result) afrender deletes this folder. Try to see afrender log may it can`t delete it and print some ...

Re: nuke Run - .bat

Better not to speak in Russian, as for most Afanasy developers and users it is not the native language. It is very good that afrender takes less that 50% resources. It should take less that 1% resources. If launched software takes less than 50% resources you can find a bottleneck of this. It can be ...

Re: nuke Run - .bat

Hi. You can look at the default CGRU Nuke setup bat: https://github.com/CGRU/cgru/blob/master/software_setup/setup_nuke.cmd#L2 Note, that any soft setup includes this file: https://github.com/CGRU/cgru/blob/master/software_setup/setup__all.cmd#L4 It reset PYTHONHOME that is used for afrender to use ...

Re: JSON/Python Api

Not possible.
Error state exactly stands for it.
And it can be automatically restarted any times (number of error retries).

Re: JSON/Python Api

Hi. af_task_update_timeout limits time for render send any update about running task. Any update can mean that the task is simple running. No state changes means an update to, render updates that task has no changes. This update needed to ensure that afrender did not forgot about this task at all, d...

Re: afrender as a servcie on windows machines

Hi Stanislav!

There is no "out-of-the-box" solution in the CGRU for it.
And it is not so needed, as there are lots of different third-party utilities to create a windows service to launch .cmd file.
We use this at work:

Re: afanasy + renderthreads

Hi. AfRender just launch commands that were constructed by some submission script and sent to AfServer with a job. If you can describe your needs within a command line, you can use Afanasy to distribute your commands over farm. If this is some Nuke Python wrapper, CGRU Nuke submission script already...

Re: Agents start working with delay

It can be a network bandwidth problem.
Your composition should download sources, and then, upload result.
Try to measure traffic from each machine and a maximum network speed.
This is can be your bottleneck for render farm scaling.
