Hi Timur,
I hope everything works out for you.
Small question.
Is it possible to use multiple versions of rendering software in CGRU?
For example:
Would it be possible to use Blender 2.7 and Blender 2.8 in CGRU?
Could Afanasy distinguish between two blender.exe files with different paths?
We would like to use older/newer versions of Blender and other programs.
Is this generally possible?
Many thanks in advance!
Best regards
Laurence
Multiple Blender/Software versions in Keeper
Re: Multiple Blender/Software versions in Keeper
Hi.
This is a Keeper menu:
https://github.com/CGRU/cgru/tree/master/start
You can create Software folder there and your custom Software section will appear in the system tray menu.
You can pull any custom scripts there (blender2.7.cmd, blender2.8.cmd and so on).
And run any custom custom scripts from Keeper.
You can use working directory to make project_A use soft-2018 and project_B use soft-2019.
For this you should create your custom blender.cmd script, that will run different blender.exe depending on a working directory.
