Hi Timur, I'm working on a new skin for Rules, and I'm having a little problems understanding the various style(s).css files you use.
There are currently 4 of them;
- /lib/styles.css
- /rules/styles.css
- /afanasy/browser/style.css (no s)
- /afanasy/statistics/styles.css
From some poking around, I think your placing most of your UI skin function style descriptions in the /lib/styles.css file, and then the majority of the other style descriptions in the /rules/styles.css. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I wonder, as the /afanasy/browser/style.css interconnected with the two other? The styles.css in statistics I gather is only for the statistics page?
Peter.

Re: CSS files
Hi.
afanasy/statistics styles for statistics, afanasy/browser for afanasy web gui, rules/styles for rules.
And lib/styles for a lib/js library and some common things for all.
Or what are you asking?

Re: CSS files
Hi, I just checked my settings, and I'm supposed to get notified on replies I'm subbed to but I'm not getting any though... I just tried adding in my gravatar, and after I enter my email, I get "The entered email domain has no valid MX record.". I doubt there's anything wrong with that email... maybe a config issue?
About the css, I'm slowly figuring it out.. it's starting to become an unholy mess the more I change.

Re: CSS files
Unfortunately, there is a lack of comments in CSS.
And in the entire project too.
Lost of parts were written in a hurry.
We should write more comments during development.

Re: CSS files
You can enable topic subscribe by default on a posting:
User Control Panel -> Board preferences -> Edit posting defaults -> Notify me upon replies by default -> Yes
Now I enabled option for new users by default.

Re: CSS files
Hi, I've switched on notification via email on my own posts and subbed posts, let you know if it works. Didn't get an email about your reply on this thread though... but will check my settings again. No big deal.
About the css, no worries. I'm going through the files one by one, line by line and sooner or later I should get a clearer picture of it all. I will start adding comments as I go along (and as my understanding increases).

Re: CSS files
Ah, now I know why I'm not getting any email notification. The check-box under the reply message is un-ticked by default, maybe if possible have the default state to be checked?

Re: CSS files
Right, was because the threads were started before you switched it to be a default setting.
All good now
